Product Marketing Manager – Search

Marketing department is looking for a customer-focused self-starter to serve as an integral member of the marketing team. We're a collaborative, roll-up-the-sleeves department who values teamwork, great ideas, and fun. With the industry's best search products combined with world-class service, you'll have an opportunity to evangelize our Search products with the full resources and backing.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you'll help develop and implement marketing ideas to highlight company’s innovation, spotlight return on our clients' Search marketing investments, and help craft the Search messaging that will resonate throughout the entire online advertising industry. This position offers executive contact, ownership of key projects and growth opportunities in a high-performance organization. Candidate must have a strong professional outlook and interpersonal skills to interface with multiple departments in order to effectively contribute to reaching team and company goals. This includes on-going project management with Sales, Product Management, Creative, and Financial teams. Candidate must have the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. You should also have experience in and a passion for the online advertising industry.

The Search Product Marketing Manager will help lead the following initiatives:

o Manage day-to-day marketing responsibilities for the Search Product group.
o Launching of new Search features and products.
o Understand the bird's-eye and the ground-level view of the competition, and be acutely aware of emerging trends in the Search Product space. You will be the subject matter expert for the company in this domain.
o Managing company’s participation in Search marketing-oriented events and trade shows.
o Liaise with the Search Product world; attending events, shows and seminars.

Success will be measured by meeting annual performance goals tied to the company's strategic plan, successful completion of initiatives, and gaining credibility within the organization.

A successful candidate will meet many or all of the following requirements:

o Bachelors degree required
o Must have 3-8 years B2B marketing experience, including product marketing experience
o Familiarity with, or experience in, the Search marketing industry from a marketing perspective is critical
o Must have strong writing and oral communication skills
o Must have strong project management skills
o Must have ability to effectively interface with senior-level executives
o Must have ability to manage cross-functional teams
o Understanding of the advertising agency business and/or online publishing business
o Knowledge of online advertising industry, including Search marketing products and strategies
o Knowledge of/experience in competitive analysis a plus.
o Technology proficient -- experience with sales force automation and marketing databases, and strong understanding of internet technologies.
